COMMODITY BUYER

MISSION:

Provide to our internal costumer an efficient supplier base with dynamic and efficient procurement, achieving the internal company targets through an efficient supply chain management.

MAIN TASKS:

• Develop, lead and execute purchasing strategies
• Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
• Negotiating and agreeing contracts and monitoring their progress checking the quality of service provided and close deals with optimal terms
• Forecast price and market trends to identify changes of balance in buyer-supplier power
• Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
• Assess, manage and mitigate risks
• Identifying potential suppliers, visiting existing suppliers and new ones, and building and maintaining good relationships with them
• Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Commerce, Business Development or other related to supply chain, purchasing.
• Must have atl least 3 years professional experience, specifically related to the automotive industry. 
• Experience in direct material purchasing, preferebly plastics.
• Conversational English
• Location: Antolin Toluca
• Availability to travel
