Your Mission  

Ensures the efficient coordination and supervision of production activities in the assembly area, guaranteeing compliance with quality, productivity, delivery, safety, and continuous improvement standards. 

 
Key Responsibilities 

 Coordinates and supervises production processes in the assembly area within the required parameters, in accordance with production standards.  

 Responsible for achieving production KPIs (efficiency, scrap rate, internal and external quality, audits).  

 Ensures compliance with delivery deadlines.  

 Ensures that UET Supervisors correctly complete the documentation required for the production process, according to quality standard requirements.  

 Collaborates with other departments to optimize production processes.  

 Reports any deviations from routing and BOM (Bill of Materials).  

 Communicates daily production-related information to subordinate personnel.  

 Collects and reports daily data regarding activity parameters at the end of the shift (scrap, production issues, PPM, defects) and proposes the necessary actions to achieve targets.  

 Plans/adjusts the number of operators according to the production plan, ensuring they receive proper training from the UET Supervisor.  

 Leads the analysis of appearance and assembly defects.  

 Actively participates in the analysis of complex nonconformities together with the multidisciplinary team.  

 Proposes disciplinary measures in cases of violation of internal rules and procedures.  

 Carries out shift handover procedures.  

 Ensures that, during shift handover, all production lines under supervision are supplied with materials and communicates any issues from the shift, delivery urgencies, and any other information necessary for the production process.  

 Stops production when alert thresholds are reached or in case of equipment malfunction, etc., and informs the direct supervisor according to the escalation procedure.  

 Analyzes production indicators for the previous day and completes the specific daily report.  

 Ensures compliance with ESD operating rules in the production area under coordination, adherence to the 5S standard, proper use of protective equipment, and observance of Internal Regulations on the production lines supervised.  

 Maintains good collaboration with support functions (Maintenance, Technical, HSE, QA, Logistics, Injection) to ensure quick problem resolution.  

 Motivates subordinate personnel to generate improvement ideas.  

 Checks production volume at regular intervals and takes appropriate measures if targets are not achieved.  

 Approves operators’ requests (events, leave requests, medical leave, permissions, timekeeping adjustments).  

 Monitors the status of open actions in production.  

 Ensures that OPTs and 5S audits are carried out by UET Supervisors.  

 Opens actions in the specific tracking file and monitors their closure by the Technical or Maintenance Department.  

 Has the authority to block suspicious or nonconforming products, stop the production line to correct quality issues, and restart the line afterward. 

 
What You’ll Bring 

  • Secondary or higher education. 

  • Previous experience working in shifts and in a production environment (preferably in the automotive industry). 

  • Proficient in Excel. 

  • Team coordination and development skills, with a focus on motivation and constructive feedback. 

  • Open-minded, good communicator, proactive and energetic. 

  • Advanced level of Romanian – mandatory.
