Your Mission

To manufacture, assemble, and maintain high-precision tools, dies, molds, and fixtures in compliance with technical specifications and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

Performs machining and assembly operations on materials for the manufacture of tools, fixtures, gauges, or molds/dies.

Carries out specific toolmaking operations (fitting, drilling, threading/tapping, spotting, finishing, etc.) and assembles components of varying complexity for fixtures, molds, metal patterns, etc.

Has knowledge of the materials used for manufacturing tools, fixtures, gauges, or molds/dies, as well as the appropriate machining and assembly technologies, and applies them in specific activities.

The activities involve knowledge and operation of machines and equipment intended for specific operations (overhead crane, etc.), both from a functional perspective and in accordance with the related work instructions and procedures, as specified in the technical documentation.

Following the machining operations described in the accompanying technical sheet, the tool and die maker assembles the parts required for manufacturing tools, fixtures, gauges, or plastic injection molds, etc.

Understands the elements involved in carrying out the operations and their interdependence; through professional training, is capable of performing the required work according to the technological documentation so that the finished parts meet the specified quality parameters.

The activity involves both receiving and transmitting technical information, as well as teamwork, compliance with occupational health and safety regulations, environmental protection rules, and emergency response procedures.

Has advanced technical drawing knowledge and is capable of using plans from the technical documentation for fixtures or molds, as well as dimensional measuring instruments (caliper, micrometer, dial indicator).
