ROLE: Chief Accountant

Location: Sibiu

Mission:

Coordinates the financial, accounting, and tax activities within the Financial Accounting Department.

Responsibilities:

Preparation and submission of all mandatory tax returns (RO VAT, EU VAT, corporate income tax, SAF-T, non-residents, etc.)
Management and coordination of the Romanian e-Invoice system (RO e-Factura)
Managing the relationship with external and internal auditors, including full preparation of the required documentation for audits and supporting the verification process
Representing the company and handling communication with state institutions (ANAF, BNR) and banking institutions
Preparation and monitoring of cash flow
Performing periodic accounting closings and verifying the accuracy of accounting records
Implementation and maintenance of internal accounting procedures

What we are looking for:

Relevant experience in accounting and financial management
Higher education in finance and accounting
Certified by CECCAR
Solid knowledge of accounting and experience with an ERP system (ideally SAP)
Advanced proficiency in MS Office
Intermediate English skills (written and spoken)
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Critical thinking, solution-oriented mindset, and attention to detail
Clear and effective communication
Adaptability and dynamism
