Your Mission
To ensure accurate and compliant accounting operations, support the Procure-to-Pay process, and coordinate effectively with the Shared Service Center in line with company policies and local legal requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Acts as the guarantor for implementing group policies and for managing and communicating possible changes across the different sites within their scope, such as the operating model with the Shared Service Center.
Defines and implements local adaptations of these procedures, taking into account the country’s legal obligations.
Responsible for the PTP (Procure-to-Pay) process within the organization, in direct connection with the Shared Service Center.
Ensures liaison with the Shared Service Center for invoices received in paper format (receipt, scanning, and dispatch).
Ensures coordination between the Shared Service Center and operational departments such as logistics or purchasing to resolve supplier price discrepancies.
Supports the Chief Accountant in analyzing and resolving intercompany discrepancies with group partners.
Ensures that the GRNI supply account is cleared, meaning suppliers send invoices to the Shared Service Center and logistics correctly process goods receipts.
Reviews payment proposals made by the Shared Service Center at M+1 and M+15 and makes decisions based on priorities and cash availability.
Prepares bank payments for advance payments, urgent payments, salaries, and taxes.
Ensures management of advance payments to suppliers with limited credit issues.
Assists the Shared Service Center with supplier account reconciliations (clearing).
Prepares monthly closing entries such as accruals for invoices yet to be received (energy, sorting, transport, maintenance, and other services), invoices to be allocated (retrocession fees from Irausa), and prepaid invoices (CTP park, insurance).
Assists the Shared Service Center with monthly depreciation processes.
Monitors current fixed assets and prepares commissioning documentation for “Plant Capex.”
Ensures the registration of tool and equipment invoices from external suppliers (asset receipt in SAP), as well as invoices from Antolin Ingeniería and Antolin Besançon.
Audits and controls travel expenses and expense claims before payment, at the request of the Shared Service Center.

Relevant experience in the accounting field

Higher education in finance and accounting

Solid knowledge of accounting and experience with an ERP system (ideally SAP)

Advanced proficiency in MS Office
