Mission:
- The MRO Regional Coordinator is responsible for coordination of the Purchasing Strategy of the associated MRO commodity by Region integrated in the Corporate Global Procurement Team.
- Strategy: Enhance the service and product supply needs from a specific region/country for the different MRO categories, aiming to achieve standardization and improvement actions as well as savings from current Antolin spend.
Responsibilities:
- Promote, negotiate and manage Frame Agreements with Integrator and main supply Suppliers in the Antolin plants
- Coordinate the performance of the suppliers, monitoring / acting to achieve the saving objectives proposed
- Coordinate and follow the implementation actions between the Antolin Plants and the Suppliers, as well as
- Coordinate with the MRO Category Manager and Global Indirect Procurement Team
- Standardize Indirect Purchasing wherever possible
- Promote and follow the saving actions and the report of the originated savings (both from corporate team actions and from each plant own developed actions) into the BI/SAC monthly reports (including the validation at plant level by Financial Controller/Plant Manager).
During the management phase:
- Assure that the actions proposed by the Suppliers are oriented to achieve the targeted savings, and that the plants accept them and follow in reasonable manner.
- Follow the monthly saving reports from the Suppliers, which are to be input into BI/ SAC tool and validated at plant level (by Financial Controller/ Plant Manager).
- Follow the consolidated report from the plants under her/ his area (monthly / quarterly), analyse the alignment of the results with the MRO_FM Commodity objectives.
- Hold periodic meetings with the Integrator / Main Suppliers, in coordination with other Regional Coordinators and the Category Manager, to track the results achieved and the effectiveness of the actions implemented, looking for new potential actions
- Activate corrective actions if deviation from the objectives (at least from quarterly review meetings)
- Analyse the best practices achieved between plants and suppliers, within its own region as well to share them with the Global Team, to work-out standardization procedures as well as for extended improved efficiency.
- Promote and define SLA and Supplier Campaign (SC), following the savings achievement to be included in the BI/SAC monthly reports
- Follow up on open items at plant/supplier level that may occur during this management phase (those escalated above plant level).
- Complete Antolin’s purchasing strategy by actively searching for new potential suppliers which can contribute to the fulfilment of Antolin’s objectives in those categories where there are open opportunities (for example to optimize region/ country wise the categories where no integrator was yet found).
- Consolidation and Development of Suppliers
- Continuous negotiation with current suppliers
- Consolidate the Punchout strategy: deploy it with main suppliers, achieve competitive prices for high Runner references, and assure the plants involvement
- Observance of Antolin Purchasing & Compliance Procedures
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor's Degree in Purchasing or related field preferred
- 5 to 7 years of experience in Purchasing
- Professional and effective communication and representation skills.
- Ability to sit, stand and have mobility to move around the office or manufacturing environment, when needed.
- Ability to conduct extended computer work and lead discussions with employees.
- Visits to customer facilities and plants may require extended standing and walking.
- Ability to lift, move and manipulate parts required.
- May require domestic and international travel
