Roles and responsibilities:

As an Industrial Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data pipelines and solutions that enable us to extract, transform, and analyse data from various industrial sources. You will work closely with engineers, scientists, and business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver impactful solutions that improve efficiency, productivity, and decision-making. 

Responsibilities: 

• Design and build robust and scalable data pipelines to collect, cleanse, transform, and load data from various sources, including sensors, machines, databases, and cloud platforms. 

• Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and metadata to ensure data quality and consistency. 

• Implement data ingestion, processing, and storage solutions using technologies like Apache Kafka, Spark and cloud data warehouses. 

• Develop and deploy data analytics applications using Python and JavaScript. 

• Collaborate with data scientists and engineers to design and implement data quality control procedures. 
• Develop and maintain documentation for data pipelines, models, and applications. 

Qualifications / Skills: 

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 

• 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or a similar role in an industrial setting. 

• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and other data engineering tools. 

• Experience with Grafana, PowerBI or other monitoring tools. 

• Experience with data pipelines, data warehousing, and cloud computing platforms (Azure , AWS, GCP). 

• Familiarity with industrial data sources, including sensors, PLCs, SCADA systems, NodeRED,  KEPServer or other OPC-UA servers. 

• Experience with machine learning and data analytics techniques is a plus. 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills. 
• Passion for working with data and solving real-world problems.
