We have an opening with us for the position of “Production –Engineer” in our Ranjangaon Plant.

Responsibilities:

Production Management System include ensuring Production standards are met, improving processes, and managing risks with manufacturing a product at GA India plant Works activity  towards Production target objectives in collaboration with commercials team . Job holders in this role may take responsibility for the improvement of components within the all Production process.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

General and Task Management

• Knowledge of SAP & 5S.

• Knowledge of SMED Signal Minute exchange die.

• Customer Audit interface & Troubleshooting.

• Hold production lines accountable to ensure compliance with published schedule, tact time/ hourly rates and quality standard.

• Reduces controlled down time verify completion and accuracy of all production reporting including SAP scanning transaction and paperwork.

• Responsible to ensure quality procedure and work instructions being followed by production operators ,participate in corrective action and process improvement meeting (Red Table)and work with the line leader’s operators to reduce the scrap & quality issues.

•  Responsible for training to ensure all production employee understand proper operations , work instruction , quality procedure ,and safety instructions..

• Supervisors are responsible to communicate to staff members and employees . Supervisor are expected to after suggestions for improvement to process & quality . Responsible to fill out required production reports correctly.

•  Responsible to ensure housekeeping rules and to set good samples to employee as per Grupo 5 S standards . In addition are responsible to ensure all material in place in proper area with tag, labels, and paperwork.

• Responsible to enforce all safety rules and regulations to provide safety requirements to operators to report any unsafe conditions and production manager.

• Good knowledge of SAP,IATF , EMS ,SMED.

 

Relationship Management

Production management principle that involves maintaining mutually beneficial relationships with an organization's stakeholders.

• Determine who your stakeholders are and what their relationship is to the organization.

Identify and prioritize which stakeholder relationship dimensions need immediate attention. For example, prioritize according to the risk of non-compliance with customer requirements.

• Establish stakeholder relationships that balance short-term benefits with long-term goals..

• Establish cooperation with suppliers, partners, and other stakeholders aimed at development and improvement.

• Avoid mutual accusations and work together to find optimal solutions to problems, eliminate, and prevent discrepancies. Communication should be open and two-way.

• Good communication skills with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally

• Good interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills

• Commercially and financially aware with strong analytical skills

• Strong technical mindset and able to read and interpret technical data and translate to others

• Highly numerate with the ability to research, assemble manage and manipulate numerical information

• Knowledge of estimating techniques with the ability to deliver against deadlines

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy skills

• Process management skills.

Required Skills:

Knowledge of Strong understanding of Production management principles and industry standards.

Knowledge of Problem-solving and analytical skills.

Familiarity with audit techniques and risk management processes

Knowledge of statistical audits

 

Education:

Graduation- Diploma or Degree Mechanical Engineering.

Experience:

Experience in Production in a position equivalent to at least 2 to 4 years.
