Job Description:

• Lead end-to-end development of door panel systems, acting as the primary engineering interface with customers in collaboration with global teams
• Define and develop product designs and manufacturing processes aligned with customer specifications and Group standards
• Ensure technical feasibility, design convergence, and validation through close coordination with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional engineering teams
• Manage and maintain program documentation within Product Data Management (PDM) systems
• Execute development activities in line with organizational protocols and Program Management System (PMS) guidelines
• Lead supplier development activities, including tooling development, process validation, and industrialization readiness
• Coordinate effectively with suppliers and plant teams during product development and launch phases
• Ensure supplier quality assurance for prototypes, tooling, and production processes
• Drive and support APQP activities, including PFMEA, DFMEA, DFM/DFA, and tolerance stack-up analysis
• Lead costing and value engineering initiatives, including techno-commercial discussions and supplier negotiations
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on product quality, cost optimization, and manufacturability

Professional Experience:

• Relevant 10+ years of experience in automotive interiors, specifically Door panel development (Minimum 3 + Complete Door Panels Programs Experience )
• Proven experience managing programs from RFQ to SOP (Start of Production)
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional engineering teams and manage global interfaces
• Strong background across the complete product development lifecycle, from concept to launch
• Experience in automotive OEM/Tier-1 environments preferred

• GD&T and tolerance analysis
• Root cause analysis and structured problem-solving methodologies
• Change management and customer-specific engineering systems
• Engineering documentation and configuration management
• Familiarity with engineering data systems and analytical tools
