Mission:

 

  • Support current production activities of assigned Business Units, APQP planning and execution for future programs, and/or business/tooling transfers into or out of facility.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Support all cross functional members of assigned Business Units/processes to optimize KOI performance
  • Lead teams through PFMEA development to ensure all potential failure modes are identified and actions are taken to eliminate (preferred) or detect potential defects
  • Lead development and implementation of processes to optimize production and eliminate/minimize safety, environmental or ergonomic risk.
  • Utilize production data, lessons learned, benchmarking and problem resolution experiences to continually identify and implement actions to reduce risk of potential failures modes.
  • Utilize production data, lessons learned, benchmarking and problem resolution experiences to identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
  • Establish and maintain E-BOM documents for assigned products
  • Utilize the Engineering data base and all support procedures to communicate and manage engineering changes for assigned products
  • Build relationships with key customer Engineering, Quality and Assembly Plant contacts
  • Learn, understand, and work within all customer engineering systems and/or data bases
  • Represent the company in a professional manner at customer and supplier locations
  • Utilize the Engineering Data Base to document and manage customer and internal engineering changes and ensure conformance to the process
  • Support new business quoting activities with tooling/capital cost information and process assumptions
  • Conform to all safety rules and submit opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Any reasonable request deemed necessary by management
  • Fulfilment of all Antolin procedures                                                                                                                            

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • Educational requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/related field (preferred) and/or
  • Min. 3 years of experience in Automotive Interior Manufacturing, Quality or Engineering
  • Analytical skills combined with structured working style and high learning and adaptation skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Project) and Lotus Notes
  • Understanding of APQP systems and requirements
  • Ability to interpret engineering information (drawings, CAD, specifications, etc)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Calibration/Gage R&R, 8-D, AIAG, PPAP Requirements

 

Compensation:

$60,000 - $70,000
