Mission:

 

  • Through a variety of testing and inspection methods, perform quality assurance laboratory testing as required by customer specifications and control plans.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Coordinate and executes all CMM programming requirements
  • Creates and modifies CMM programs as needed to perform new measurements or account for specification changes
  • Performs layouts on products, tooling, gauges, fixtures and other equipment requested
  • Performs gauge R&R, capability studies and records data in database, spreadsheet or on prescribed forms
  • Ensure timely calibration of gauges and other measurement equipment back to NIST traceable standards
  • Demonstrates the ability to multi-task and change directions easily
  • Performs other tasks as assigned

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • Educational requirements: High School Diploma or GED
  • Prior experience with operating & programming CMMs
  • Prior experience with operating Red Light scanners using PolyWorks software
  • Able to work any shift, and extended hours during large production launches
  • Superior mathematical skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, decimals, percentages, algebra, vector math)
  • Ability to follow directions of a technical nature with minimal supervision
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • High initiative and self-motivating – ability to work independently
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Clear understanding of Statistical Process Control
  • Able to read and interpret drawings including advanced GD&T
  • Computer skills including the use of Microsoft Office products
  • Physically able to calibrate quality assurance laboratory equipment

 

Compensation:

Salary Range: $67,600 – $71,800
