Production Team Lead - 2nd Shift (2:00 pm to 10:00 pm)

Mission:  

                                         
Responsible for the fulfilment of the objectives of production in terms of productivity and quality. Manages, and controls activities of the staff of their respectable lines. Work towards their daily goals, and leads various efforts to achieve them.                                            
                                           

Functions / Tasks:

 

• Responsible for ensuring the Production Operators meet the minimum requirements for their position.
• Communicate Production and Quality Requirements to the production team members.
• Responsible for filling required production reports correctly and completely.
• Place team members in position that they are most productive and efficient for the area.
• Ensure that all Production Operators are adhering to the Safety Rules and Regulations.
• Report any unsafe work conditions and ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner.
• Enforce the housekeeping rules.
• Enforce the Quality Policy.
• Responsible for training all new and veteran Production Operators and should also help motivate, coach, and assit in evaluation
• Enforce all of the Company’s Policies and Procedures.  Raise discipline issues with the Production Team Leads.
• Ensure Production Schedules are being ran and accountable for their deliverables for the daily production set by the Production Team Leads
• Provide all Production paperwork to the Production Supervisors
• Hold team members accoutable to ensure production metrics, quality, on time delivery, and teamwork are met
• Intimate Knowledge of all their appropriate lines and to provide support as needed

Additional Responsibilities
• Lead by example providing coaching and mentoring to Production Operators
• Abides by all environmental, health and safety rules and regulations promoting safety in the workplace.
• Report all HR numbers to the Production Supervisors
• Perform other duties as assigned

                                      

What we are looking for:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.          
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills is required.
  • Effective interpersonal skills in dealing with employees and management.
