Mission:

 

The Launch Manager is responsible for managing and controlling the product launch process, deliverables, time lines, suppliers, and various Antolin Departments and facility efforts according to the customer RFQ/SOR/CN Requirements. For each project identify and assign the team members from each department required to complete the project. Provide to each department & team member the deliverables according to timelines whether it be from initial new concept design, or an existing design change, a supplier change, a tooling change, or a process change. Initiate and control the Company Feasibility Assessment, the Internal Process Acceptance Tracking Phases with all departmental deliverable documentation to ensure on-time launch is met maintaining the budget and quality objectives.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Plans and executes the critical deliverables as defined in Glidepath Launch Process, using Gateway and APQP tools.

• Coach and motivate the launch team to encourage ownership and responsibility for the activities (functional deliverables

and reporting) within the project team.

• Key interface between Central Project/Program Managers and plant launch team to achieve the program’s targets on

time, cost, quality, and manufacturing feasibility.

• Create start-up and ramp up plan, maintain timeline, Manufacturing Readiness and open issues list to ensure the program

achieves customer milestones, internal deliverables, and engineering deadlines and plant start-up in line program timeline.

• Effectively communicate in clear and concise manner to all levels of the organization.

• Ensure Advanced Quality Planning/PPAP, including customer signoff and Process signoff on the program (PSW).

• Project/Program targets achieved - time/cost/performance.

• Safe launch and integration to existing Production.

• Project/Program Launch Team follows established Quality Objectives.

• Customer sign off PSW.

• Assembles, coordinates, and maintains project launch teams and activities.

• Support the development of equipment specifications, the statement of work, and procurement of various quotations for approval.

• Support activities related to prototype part delivery, and PPAP commitments are met as promised/expected by the customer.

• Responsible for assigned programs and assurance of compliance with established targets related to quality, costs, timing, profitability and any regulatory requirements.

• Responsible for prototype and pre-production builds to assure that product design, manufacturing, assembly, supplier risks, and other potential failure modes are detected at the earliest stages of the product & process development cycle.

• Establish meeting reviews to coordinate, lead, and participate in multi-disciplined teams discussions to address objectives and documented deliverables associated with the manufacturing and assembly process, productivity and volume outputs

 

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, manufacturing engineering. or work experience equivalent.
  • 5+ years of program management / manufacturing experience within the automotive industry, along with a strong technical background and knowledge of interior systems & components, manufacturing, and a good understanding of cross-functional responsibilities within a matrix organization.
  • Thorough understanding of the quality management system (IATF & VDA)
  • Resourceful and self-motivated, able to manage multiple deliverables with strict deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively in a global environment leading and motivating the team.
