Mission:

Holds responsibility for the development, administration, capability, and compliance of the Quality Management and Quality Assurance Systems.

Responsibilities:

Perform mold/tool changes in a safe and efficient method, as detailed in functioning instruction PR-0005FI.
Verify proper operating temperature of the mold
Ensure all press clamps are properly fastened to the mold before releasing to production
Verify all hydraulic/water/air lines are correctly connected, and punches/pins are operating as required
Complete Mold Change Safety Check-List (PR-0033F) after each mold change
Monitor and update Tooling Status Board & red/green tool status disks to determine a priority of tool cleaning and maintenance required
Control mold temperatures through tracking of mold preheating time and proper functioning of preheaters
Check mold temperatures as required
Update list of molds in each preheater to include date/time tool entered preheater
Verify preheater temperatures are at proper settings
Clean debris from waterjet bucks when required, and repair areas that have become damaged from waterjet overspray
Clean molds when required per Functioning Instruction PR-0003FI.
Repair and replace (if needed) all functioning aspects of the tooling, to include hydraulic/air lines & fittings, pin cylinders, punches/anvils, and tentoring blades
Responsible to work in safe manner, utilizing all proper safety equipment, and to report unsafe conditions to their supervisor
Maintain 5S cleanliness and organization standards in the tool room
Complete daily forklift checklists for all tool changing forklifts in use
Receive training and certification for operation of forklifts and crane operation

What we are looking for:

Educational requirements : High School Diploma or GED
1 / 2 years Fork Lift Driver experience / Permit holder
Mechanically inclined, technical capacity, problem solving/analytical, time management, teamwork.
