Mission:


The mission involves taking responsibility for the supplier strategy and ensuring that budget, timing, and quality targets are met for the assigned commodities and suppliers, as well as securing the best possible agreements and deals for Production Material (direct material) and investments, guaranteeing high standards of quality, service, price, and sustainability.

 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute commodity strategy to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods, identification of cost-saving-opportunities and establish long-term supplier relationships
  • Supplier panel management: Introduction of new and competitive sources of supply as well as development, standardization, harmonization and bundling of suppliers (including "global" and "best cost country" sourcing). Selection of strategic partners is included
  • Continuous cost optimization for the assigned commodities by contributing to the realization of identified value adding and saving targets by implementing and leveraging corresponding value levers, including the implementation of developed measures and tools for cost and value optimization
  • Design and execution of tendering processes: Incorporation of purchasing requisitions without a frame contract, tender strategy and planning, risk analysis, tendering, pre-selection, negotiation and preparation of award decisions as well as contract implementation and management.
  • Responsible for leading negotiations with suppliers (supported by operational buyers) and to visit current suppliers when required.
  • Demand planning and management: Analysis of historical demand, creation of demand forecasts based on the planning of business areas and harmonization, standardization and bundling of requirements as well as specifications management, e.g., technical simplification.
  • Analysis of relevant supplier markets: Reporting on purchasing market developments regarding competition, demand, pricing, innovation and own positioning
  • Provision of relevant data for strategic decisions
  • Coordination of and involvement in Supplier Relationship Management activities, incl. supplier risk management and improvement of supply chain sustainability (in line with Grupo Antolin methodology)
  • Supports in Make-or-Buy decisions in deciding whether manufacturing a product in-house or purchasing it from an external supplier.
  • Communication with stakeholders and data requests management: Contact person, constructive sparring partner and assistance for stakeholders regarding the respective product group(s) as well as for the respective existing or potential suppliers
  • Fulfilment of all Antolin procedures

                                                             

                                                            

We are looking for:

  • Educational requirements: Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or comparable qualification
  • Min. 5 years of experience in purchase, particularly in in the Automotive Sector
  • Analytical skills combined with structured working style and high learning and adaptation skills.
  • Resourceful and self-motivated, able to manage multiple deliverables.
  • A challenging and enquiring mindset
  • Teamwork, High Negotiation and Communication Skills, Resilience with Proactive approach
