Process Engineer

JOB SITE LOCATION: 12520 Westport Rd, Louisville, KY 40245
DUTIES: Responsible for the process operations. Line support and trouble shooting. Control and update conditions of operation. Update process sheet, visual factory, visual aids, maintenance visual aids and work instructions (DIP, DDP, and IPT). Line support and implementation of Poke-Yoke for the processes. Analysis of the takt time for all stations. Must be able to work in a JIT (Just In Time) Facility and conduct engineering principles to line processes. Update SAP System, BOM’s and BLADE System according to the engineering changes. Establish ergonomic improvement plans for the processes and improve the process to make cost reductions. Maintain lean manufacturing philosophy along with the plant employees. Update and keep FMEA by multi-functional teams. Quality and manufacturing improvements. Poke-yoke design and installation in workstations. Machine components design using Auto Cad (basic). Operations time studies. Coordinate the problem solving for each process. Review of the Production process operations (Operation Review). Coordinator and responsible for production alternate methods. Keep engineering change registration and pilot test coordination. Coordinate to the engineering changes. Follow GA procedure for engineering changes. PPK, CP and CPK monitoring and control. Keep all environmental and quality systems procedures updated. Review and update the IMDS web Systems (International Material Data Sheet). Review and update the Capacity on the customer web systems. Review and update the WERS System. (Ford) / Review and update the CPV2. (Ford) Evaluate and establish packaging norms. Vision programming.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's Degree (or foreign academic equivalent) in Engineering or related field and three (3) years of experience as a Process Engineer or related occupation. Experience must include: Experience with CAD and SOLID Works; Experience with APQP, CP, FMEA, SPC, MSA, and PPAP; Experience with Vision, Robot, and PLC system; Experience with Electrical fundamentals and circuit analysis; Experience with GD&T; Experience with IATF 16949:2016; Experience with JIT; and Experience with SAP and Customer portal (Covisint).
OTHER: This position does not require travel.
