INMA02-NP 2026 Maintenance Tech.
Responsible for:
- Performs planned and unscheduled maintenance tasks assigned by the Maintenance Manager or called for by Production Line Leaders or Supervisor.
- Retrieving P.M.s and W.O.s for production lines prioritizing in the order of safety issues, production needs, and then preventive maintenance
- Following proper procedures for Maintenance stores
- Keep work areas cleaned and organized on a daily basis
- Repairing items on production lines without production interruption
- Maintenance should instigate scheduled work orders for all lines
- Performs duties in safe manner following lockout tag out procedure and all known safety practices.
- Reviewing items posted on the maintenance office board for scheduled jobs needing to be completed
- Utilize technical support and information (Maintenance Manuals, Prints, etc.) to minimize equipment downtime.
- Required to provide own tools. Responsible for return of all company owned specialty tools or gages when used on production equipment.
- Contributes to maintain a clean and organized shop area by using 5 “s” methodology and 5 ”s” reference state.
- Documents all work performed during shift in Work Order with notification by the end of shift report.
- Completes work orders and PM orders filling in needed information and turning these into the Supervisor.
- Reports all parts used and any low inventory items to Supervisor.
- Keep spare parts cabinet organized
- Completes other job-related tasks as assigned.
- Conduct machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Conduct emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
- Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
- Utilize mechanical skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders for maintenance.
- Be able to operate equipment in maintenance work area: drill press, mill, welder, lathe, plasma cutter.
- Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules.
- Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
- Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
- Install appliances and equipment
- Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
- Fanuc robot and teach pendent orientated
Educational/Training requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalence or technical school graduate or equivalent of training or experience.
Additional Experience, Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
- At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, preferably in automotive interior trim and systems.
Required Experience:
- PLC, Lateral Logic, Robotics, Hydraulics, Pneumatic, and Electrical experience required
- Microsoft Office proficiency required
- Physical demands require computer work, standing, sitting in office and manufacturing plant environment, walking manufacturing plant floor multiple times daily, bending, stooping, reaching, climbing, kneeling while performing maintenance tasks. Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical and electrical abilities.
- PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley / Siemens).
- Experience with robotics (preferably Fanuc).
- Experience with vision systems.
- Physical and mental stamina.
- Experience using hand and electrical tools.
- Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
