Mission:

 

  • To perform a vital role in designing and developing systems for manufacturing operations including design layout, materials and information flow, and machine placement.
  • Supporting and monitoring production efficiency by evaluating performance and proposing/implementing improvements.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Research, design, develop and optimize/ upgrade industrial processes.  
  • PLC Programming and Automation assistance and creation.
  • Prepare cost estimates and install control systems to maximize use of equipment.
  • Provide Quality plans, drawings, and process flow diagrams.
  • Facilitate projects driven by engineering process implementation and support project launches.
  • Conduct and participate in continuous improvement training on process equipment control systems.
  • Assist maintenance technicians in equipment operation and troubleshooting including waterjet programming.
  • Update Product definition whenever program definition changes.
  • Participate in APQP Team as Process/ Product Engineering representative.
  • Organizes and develops feasibility design and engineering requirements for the project.
  • Program water jet and receive, catalog and store productions parts and quotes engineering drawings.
  • Attend, support, and participate in Engineering Design reviews.
  • Participate in customer meetings which improve the design and engineering of the overhead systems.
  • Review Process for material saving scrap reduction, material handling, and operator efficiency improvement.
  • Interfaces with customer to ensure all engineering needs and requirements of the customers are being met.
  • Coordination of engineering changes through customer and internal system.
  • Control expenditures within the budget limits.
  • Support with preparing project reports and timing plans. Support launch at the customer Assembly plants.
  •  Monitors production lines for process adherence to systems and method defined.

 

What we are looking for:

 

  • Educational requirements bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Industrial Engineering or comparable qualification
  • Min. 3 years of experience with Process/ Project Engineering in the Automotive Sector
  • Analytical skills combined with structured working style and high learning and adaptation skills.
  • Resourceful and self-motivated, able to manage multiple deliverables.
  • A challenging and enquiring mindset
  • Teamwork, Communication Skills, Resilience with Proactive approach.
