Mission:

The purpose of this job description is to define the requirements and responsibilities of the Forklift Operator.

Essential Functions of Role:

• Supervisory Capacity:      No Supervisory Responsibilities
• Operate Forklifts to:
  • Load and unload material / packaging. 
  • Move them to and from storage areas, machines, loading docks, trucks or storage facilities.
  • Change tools.
  • Dispose waste.

What we are looking for:

Educational Requirement:    High School Graduate or Equivalent

Area of Study:  Forklift, Manufacturing, Material Handling

(Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.)

Years of Experience Required:

• 1 -3 Minimum Years of 3 Years Forklift Experience.
• 1-3 Minimum Years of Experience within the automotive industry preferred.

Required Qualifications:

• Language Required:  English (Fluency with Reading, Writing, Speaking)
• Language Preferred:  Spanish
• MRP System (Material Requirement planning).
• External logistics: Demand, Planning, Purchasing, Distribution.
• Internal logistics: Material flow & Warehouse. Definition & Management.
• Inventory management: Stock Segmentation, Inventory Accuracy, System transactions.
• Incoterms (export duties, customs incl.).
• Packaging Management.
• Lean Manufacturing (VSM,  Kaizen workshop, materials synchronized flow, Kanban).
