Mission:

This role focuses on plastic injection mold design and development, alongside advanced post-processing techniques such as ultrasonic welding, heat stacking, endof- line testing, and assembly using special purpose machines (SPMs).

Responsibilities:

Plastic Injection Mold Design and Development:
• Design and develop high-quality plastic injection molds to meet production requirements.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to refine mold designs and improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Utilize CAD software to create detailed mold designs and prototypes.
• Ensure molds are designed for ease of maintenance and long-term durability.
Injection Molding Process Knowledge:
• Oversee and optimize the injection molding process to ensure high-quality production.
• Troubleshoot molding issues, including defects, cycle times, and material flow problems.
• Work closely with production teams to implement best practices and continuous improvements in injection molding.
Post-Processing Tooling:
• Ultrasonic Welding: Set up, operate, and maintain ultrasonic welding systems. Ensure weld quality and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Heat Stacking: Manage heat stacking operations, including setup, calibration, and routine maintenance of equipment. Ensure precise temperature control and product quality.
• End-of-Line Testing (EOL): Perform comprehensive end-of-line testing to validate product specifications and quality. Analyze results and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Assembly SPMs: Operate and maintain special purpose machines (SPMs) used in the assembly process. Develop and refine assembly procedures to enhance efficiency and product quality.

What we are looking for:

Experience:  > 5 years proven track record of leading projects with Tooling & Post Process

Education: • Professional degree from CTTC , GTTC or CIPET (or equivalent) along with formal APQP training.
• Proven experience in plastic injection mold design and development.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding processes and related technologies.
