Sustainability Technician

Mission:


Ensure effective environmental management across the organization by maintaining and strengthening the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System. Collaborate with key business functions to implement sustainability procedures and standards. Support continuous improvement, high‑quality environmental data governance, and accurate sustainability reporting, contributing to the company’s decarbonization strategy and overall sustainability objectives under the guidance of the Climate Change & Circular Economy Manager. Assist the Innovation& Sustainability Director in his mission and functions. 

 

                                                                                                                                                                                
Responsibilities:

 

  • Implement and maintain environmental and energy management systems (ISO 14001 & 50001) across the Group, ensuring updated corporate documentation and alignment with certification requirements.
  • Oversee the HQ Environmental Management System, managing programs on waste, water, noise, legal compliance, communication, training, and environmental assessments.
  • Serve as main contact with environmental and energy certification bodies; coordinate European multisite certifications and support global and Mexico audits.
  • Lead internal audits for environmental and energy management systems, including corrective‑action follow‑up and conducting audits in Europe.
  • Consolidate environmental reporting from all plants, ensure data quality and deadlines, support users on tools/KPIs, and collaborate on annual environmental target‑setting.
  • Support corporate carbon‑footprint calculation and GHG data collection for inventories.
  • Contribute to internal ESG reporting and external disclosures (Integrated Annual Report, CDP, SAQ, EcoVadis).
  • Support the Sustainable Business Strategy, including monitoring progress and providing cross‑functional sustainability support.
  • Assist in identifying and tracking sustainability‑related risks and opportunities and stay updated on ESG regulations and stakeholder expectations.
  • Support sustainability training, represent the Company in sustainability forums, and participate in continuous improvement and additional sustainability projects.

 

We are looking for:

 

  • Professional Training (FP) and/or a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • Desirable experience of 2 years in environmental management in industry
  • Experience related to environmental sustainability
  • International experience (preferably)
  • Effective collaboration and cross‑functional teamwork. Clear and structured communication skills
  • Sound decision‑making and prioritization abilities. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Proactivity and initiative in managing sustainability topics. Resolutive and goal‑oriented mindset"
