Position: Senior Product Engineer

Mission:

Ensure the support, coordination, and followup of product engineering activities from the concept phase through prototype builds, series production launch, and the serial life of the program within the Project Team.

Responsibilities:

  • Define the product based on customer specifications and internal design standards.
  • Lead system concept and architecture development for interior components.
  •  Coordinate all product engineering phases from concept to series life.
  • Act as the technical contact for the customer and provide feasibility assessments.
  • Oversee CAD deliverables, BOM preparation, DFMEA updates, GD&T studies, and engineering documentation.
  • Engineering documentation
  •  Ensure compliance with requirements and support validation activities in collaboration with Quality/Validation Engineering.

We are looking for:

  • 10 years of experience in automotive product engineering.
  • Knowledge of interior components: Instrument Panel, Cockpit, Centre Console, Hard Trim, Door Panels.
  • Ability to supervise CAD activities and work with GD&T, DFMEA, functional analysis, BOM, and technical documentation.
  • Experience in validation, numerical simulations, and technical review processes (DMU, ERR, PPCR).
  • Strong coordination, project management, and communication skills for cross‑functional work and customer interaction. 
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as required.
  • Languages: Spanish / English / German
