Responsibilities:
Antolin India designs and produces automotive lighting solutions ranging from functional interior lighting to innovative ambient lighting, Roof Console, Interior lamps, multipurpose lamps, external signaling systems, image projections etc.
Reporting to optical coordinator in the design office. Ensure Optical design of lighting systems while respecting costs, quality and deadlines.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Design and draw the optics of the products in CATIA and simulate the photometry in SPEOS to achieve compliance with customer standards/specifications.
Validate the technical feasibility of the product/process by creating prototypes.
Participate in the development and qualification of optical components during the start of series production.
Contribute to the proper functioning and continuous improvement of the simulation tool, photometry in the design office, in particular about its database (materials / sources/Surface conditions…)
Participate in the continuous improvement of photometric measurement tools/means of laboratory.
Discuss and document important information/problems encountered/improvement ideas during business meetings with the optical team.
Responsible for design and development of optical components which fulfil customer and legal requirements for automotive lighting.
Evaluate and submit required optical performance optimizations.
Co-ordinate with lab and attend vehicle trials for optical models, prototype and production parts.
Provide technical support to Manufacturing, Quality Engineering, Program Managers, Project Managers and Tooling Engineering.
Create and evaluate supportive technical documentation for product engineers to present to the customer.
Keep abreast of domestic and international photometric legal requirements such as ECE, SAE, and CCC.
Face to face/written interaction with customers/senior management.
Skills Required:
Experience: 2 - 6 years relevant experience in the field of optics lighting.
Should be a good team player, should be Creative, curious and work rigorously towards your mastery of radiometry/photometry/colorimetry which is very important for the success of your mission in an international company.
Knowledge of Catia V5, Speos or any other photometric simulation software, as well as a programming language (C#, Java, VBA, etc.) will be appreciated.
Having knowhow about imaging calculation software (Zemax, Code V, Oslo, etc.) will be a plus for your application.
Education:
B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech in Mechanical/ Electronics.
