Mission:

To plan and ensure the Quality of an Automotive Product during its development phase and assuring its Lifelong industrialisation complying with the Customer Specific Requirements, IATF 16949 and GA Management Model.

 

Responsibilities:

Function & Strategic Leadership

  • Responsible as Regional Project Quality Manager for the development site near Munich in Allershausen.
  • Lead a multicultural team of Quality Engineers in the advanced planning and development of projects for premium OEMs (including Porsche, Audi, VW, Daimler, and BMW), with industrialisation activities in Germany, the UK, and the Czech Republic — ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.

Project and Resource Management

  • Strategic planning and control of annual and multi-year budgets and resources to ensure efficient allocation and optimal utilisation of capabilities.
  • Define and implement objectives (including APQP targets) with the team to support the achievement of Business Unit goals.
  • Develop coherent milestone and activity plans, initiating corrective actions early to minimise business and project risks.
  • Initiate and lead standardisation projects to create synergies and drive sustainable process optimisation.

Quality and Process Assurance

  • Oversee supplier monitoring and development as a strategic tool to ensure product and process quality, adherence to deadlines, and fulfilment of technical requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Plant Quality teams during project planning to embed quality objectives from the outset and minimise subsequent correction costs.
  • Define, standardise, and optimise control and measurement concepts as the foundation for efficient production monitoring and sustainable process capability.
  • Ensure timely validation of product and process approvals to meet customer and market requirements.
  • Strategically prepare for audits in accordance with IATF 16949 and ISO standards to maintain certification readiness and strengthen market positioning.

Communication & Stakeholder Management

  • Provide customer support throughout the entire project lifecycle to build trust, strengthen relationships, and secure long-term partnerships.
  • Lead and facilitate internal escalation and customer meetings to address risks early and develop effective solutions.
  • Support the Sales team in preparing quotations and contract negotiations, ensuring quality aspects are considered from the outset.
  • Maintain close alignment with Corporate Quality (Headquarters) to implement and further develop strategic quality objectives across all relevant projects.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Technical Engineering with a background in Industrial, Mechanical, or Aeronautical Engineering
  • Extensive experience within a Quality Department in the automotive sector
  • Strong knowledge and practical experience in - APQP / PPAP, FMEA, Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Statistical Process Control and Analysis (SPC)
  • Problem Solving and Analysis tools (8D Reports, 5 Whys, Ishikawa Diagram, etc.)
  • Knowledge of internal GA systems such as GlobalPro, ePQF, Suppliers APQP/PPAP, and TeamCenter
  • Languages: German and English – Advanced
